Your core portfolio records live on your device. When you want to move them, create a portable KlarFort backup, choose where to save or share it, and import it into KlarFort on iOS or Android. KlarFort's servers never receive or store that backup file.

Portable backups never pass through KlarFort's servers. Optional AI is separate: after you consent and start an AI feature, your request, any attachment, and relevant portfolio context may pass through the backend for processing. KlarFort does not persist chat payloads. Selected AI outputs and reports you submit are stored as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
What KlarFort does not do

- No advertising. There are no ad surfaces or advertising integrations.
What limited service data exists
KlarFort does not persist your full portfolio tables on its servers. Core records stay on your device. The backend stores a pseudonymous profile, trial and hashed purchase anti-abuse records, a durable authorization lifecycle record, generation-independent daily rate-limit controls for up to 30 days, optional push data, selected AI feature outputs, and response reports you submit.
AI features are optional and consent-gated. When you use them, your request and relevant portfolio context are processed by the AI providers we may use, and the result is returned to you. Chat exchanges are not retained by KlarFort; the Privacy Policy lists the selected outputs we store.

What is KlarFort?

Does KlarFort store my financial data on its servers?
KlarFort does not persist your full portfolio tables on its servers. Core records stay on your device. With consent, an AI request and relevant portfolio snapshot are transmitted for processing; selected AI feature outputs and user-submitted response reports are stored under a pseudonymous service profile. Trial and purchase anti-abuse records, a durable authorization lifecycle record, and temporary daily rate-limit controls are retained as described in the privacy policy.
How do I move my KlarFort data between devices?
Create a portable KlarFort backup on your device, choose where to save or share it, then import it into a compatible KlarFort version on iOS or Android. KlarFort's servers do not receive, route, or store the backup file. Imports merge core financial records into the destination: matching core financial records are updated, new core financial records are added, and core financial records that exist only on the destination remain. Custom rules and import-history summaries from the backup replace those destination lists. Each imported file can be up to 50 MB. Backup files are not separately encrypted by KlarFort, so protect them like financial documents.
Are AI features required to use KlarFort?
No. AI features are strictly opt-in: the app asks for your explicit consent before anything is shared, and you can withdraw it anytime in Settings. When you use them, your request and a snapshot of the portfolio data you entered are processed by our AI providers and the result is returned to you. Chat exchanges are not retained on KlarFort servers; the privacy policy lists the few generated outputs we store.
What platforms does KlarFort support?
KlarFort is built for iOS 17 and later and Android 7 and later. The iOS app is available now. Google Play is coming soon.
